What's
Cooking is proud to promote the use of locally grown, organic ingredients.
We are passionate about educating our students and their families about the
environmental and health benefits of making sustainable and responsible
purchasing decisions.
We do
not have our own teaching facility. We teach the majority of our classes
in local schools, and in the homes of our clients. We also frequently use
the kitchens at the Pickleweed Park Community Center, San Rafael Recreation
Center, San Anselmo Recreation, and In
The Kitchen Culinary School. Classes last approximately 1 hour.
Group classes are ideal for:
- Playgroups
and groups of friends (ages 2 1/2 and up)
- Home-schoolers
- Parent-child
classes. You can eat the alphabet, enjoy recipes from books/movies or
have an international adventure together!
- Vacation
boredom busters

| I
can't say enough great things about my experience with What's Cooking.
I used them for the in-house cooking instruction with my friends and
family and I will definitely use them again. Our instructor, Janet,
offered a fun menu that allowed the kids to experiment and really enjoy
cooking. What a fun way to spend an evening! -Sue Decker,
