Imagine what fun you'll have when you invite a few families over for a cooking class! What's Cooking will come to your home and will teach you, your friends and your children how to cook together! Perhaps you have always wanted to give your kids more freedom in the kitchen or have them help you more, but you weren't sure what was age appropriate. We can help - we will bring all of the ingredients and will guide you and your friends through the process of making and enjoying a meal together. We can do classes for your family privately, or for up to 4 families at a time. Depending on the length of our class, our fee ranges from $150-$300. Our class fee includes an informational handout with recipes and any ingredients required for our presentation. Maya received her Holistic Health Counseling training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), in New York City. This program integrates all the different dietary theories combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods.
