What's Cooking is passionate about bringing families together in the kitchen and around the table. Not only does it enhance relationships, but it also sets the stage for a healthier lifestyle. We would love to meet with your Teachers, Daycare Providers, Parenting Clubs / Organizations and School Groups to discuss Cooking With Children.

Depending on the length of our class, our fee ranges from $150-$300. Our class fee includes an informational handout with recipes.

An additional travel fee will be added if our travel time to your venue exceeds 30 minutes.

Hands-On Cooking Workshops for Parents

Are you in a meal-planning rut?
Would you like to cook with your kids, but need to improve your own confidence first?

Invite some friends over to your home for an interactive and educational cooking workshop.

We will share some simple cooking techniques and recipes that your family will enjoy. We will also demonstrate some kitchen tools that can be used safely by kids in the kitchen.

There is a $50 fee/person for this class.

6-12 guests are welome to attend.
Participants will receive copies of recipes prepared in class and an outline about the benefits of cooking with children and tips for doing so.

Sugar Blues

Our Sugar Blues talk is offered by Maya Paul, a What's Cooking Independent Consultant. Maya received her Holistic Health Counseling training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), in New York City. This program integrates all the different dietary theoriesm combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods.

Are you constantly craving sweets and want to understand why? Do you want to gain control without willpower or deprivation?

This Sugar Blues workshop is ideal for Mom's Groups, PTA Meetings and other Parent Education events.

The fee for this workshop is $100.
