Teen Classes
In her experience as a high school teacher, Michelle found that her students frequently wanted more independence in the kitchen, but lacked experience and confidence. We are excited to work with this age group and guide them into feeling more adventurous and independent in the kitchen. Simply gather a small group of friends and let us know of a few dates that work for you. Or, we can do a cooking party to help you celebrate your birthday, Bar or Bat Mitzvah or Graduation. We will come to you, with tools and ingredients in hand. In these workshops, students will have an instrumental role in both the planning and preparation of our meal.
We have several spaces left in our Cooking Summer Camp at the Marin JCC for students in grades 6-9. Hurry - you won't want to miss it!
College-Bound Students:
Private or small-group lessons for college-bound students are available. Students will learn how to safely prepare healthy meals in their dorm room or apartment.
For a list of products we recommend for Dorm-Room Cooking and a delicious, simple menu, please visit our blog entry: College Bound...and Hungry.

Hi
my name is Tommy Lee Freeman - I was one
of the great and handsome learners in your cooking class. In my
opinion, you are a great cooking facilitator, which benefits my cooking
skills, and my future as a chef. It was an honor to be able to
participate in your class.
I
never knew lemon rinds could make something taste so good! - Dawn
My
name is Kendra McDonald and I really enjoyed making dishes that I never
thought I would make because I don't like to cook. I really
think that you are a great facilitator Michelle and I would love to come
back and make more dishes. |
